Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Reliant Rehab Services LLC, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, implementing personalized treatment plans based on the latest evidence and best practices.
• Utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education, specifically tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Providing skilled therapy sessions to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment goals and how to achieve them through active participation.
• Consulting, educating, and training patients and their caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques to promote independence and self-management.
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, including regular case discussions and updates on progress.
• Contributing to the organization's business objectives by meeting minimum utilization goals and actively participating in outreach programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele also includes pediatric and neurologic patients, allowing you to expand your skills across various specialties. Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications relevant to patient care management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Clinical experience in orthopedic therapy settings, particularly with post-operative patients.
