Work Environment

You will be working in a modern outpatient office setting in Appomattox, Virginia, where our advanced technology and resources enhance the quality of care we provide. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to fully understand their orthopedic needs and challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient goals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Provide direct patient care that includes manual therapy techniques, exercises, and effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize the EMR system, specifically Web PT, for accurate documentation and progress tracking.
• Deliver education to patients regarding injury prevention, wellness, and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and refer patients for additional services when necessary.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and continue developing skills through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic physical therapy principles, informed by current research and best practices.
• Proficient in using EMR software, with a focus on effective documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, especially in sports medicine.
• Proven track record of delivering successful treatment outcomes for patients with diverse needs.
• Continuous professional development through workshops, certifications, or relevant courses in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
