You will be working in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the picturesque town of Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Eagerly assess, plan, and execute individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Work hands-on with patients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing, increase mobility, and restore function.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and contribute constructively to the clinic's operational effectiveness, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based care protocols.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with knowledge for continued recovery outside the clinic.
• Monitor and achieve minimum utilization goals and participate actively in business development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical care to sports injuries. You will also have exposure to pediatric and neurologic patients, broadening your experience and impact as a therapist. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will play a critical role in helping them regain control of their lives through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program is required.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively interact with patients and teams.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
