Work Environment

The role is situated in an inviting outpatient office environment in Appomattox, Virginia. Working onsite allows for direct interactions with patients and the multidisciplinary team, enhancing collaboration and communication. The work schedule is designed for optimal work-life balance, with operational hours from Monday to Friday, offering flexibility with start times between 7 am - 3:30 pm or 8 am - 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to develop and implement tailored, patient-centric treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Provide hands-on rehabilitation services and therapeutic interventions using advanced methodologies, ensuring each approach considers the unique needs and conditions of the patient.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while actively contributing to clinic operations and patient flow, helping create a seamless experience during therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes through integrated care.
• Educate and empower patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and health maintenance.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, assessing treatment efficacy and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Meet designated utilization and performance goals set forth by the organization, contributing to both individual and clinic-wide targets.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by proficient computer literacy, are vital for patient documentation and teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
