Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using best practices and innovative, evidence-based methods to create individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other research-supported interventions to facilitate healing and improvement in clients’ mental health.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver holistic and multifaceted care, enhancing the effectiveness of treatment approaches.

• Participate actively in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse clientele with a wide range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and adjustment difficulties. Each client's unique background and circumstances inform their treatment, thus providing the therapist with the opportunity to engage in enriching therapeutic relationships that foster healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, showcasing a solid foundation in mental health principles.

• Active licensure to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R) in New York State.
