Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Transformative Therapy Center, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in our outpatient setting, ensuring safety and effectiveness in all therapeutic interventions.
• Implementing individualized treatment programs based on comprehensive assessments and established treatment plans, adapting strategies to meet specific patient needs.
• Conducting thorough evaluations that include reviewing patient histories, performing detailed assessments, and developing clear documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Executing meticulous discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring continuity and clarity in patient documentation that reflects their treatment course, including progress notes and discharge evaluations.
• Engaging in ongoing communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, and third-party payors to maintain a respectful and transparent environment.
• Participating actively in facility meetings and continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge pertinent to your role.

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse patient population with orthopedic needs, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license as required by the state of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience
