Regular business hours will be mostly observed, but flexibility may be necessary to accommodate evening and weekend sessions based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges within the school setting.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that include specific goals, selected interventions, and regular progress monitoring.

• Provide counseling services for individuals and families navigating life transitions, academic pressures, and interpersonal struggles.
\n
• Collaborate with students and their families to create personalized interventions and connect them with community resources such as mental health services, tutoring, and support groups.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans as necessary to ensure clients’ well-being.
\n
• Engage with educational staff and community organizations to coordinate support services and advocate for students' mental health needs.
\n
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available resources and promote our agency’s services.
\n
• Attend case conferences, team meetings, and participate in ongoing training to remain current with best practices in social work and mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and their families, including those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and family instability. You will provide much-needed counseling and advocacy services to help students access educational resources and mental health support, empowering them to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
\n
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• Sound knowledge of social and economic justice issues pertinent to the Goodyear community.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices is essential.
\n
• Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and effective problem-solving abilities are critical to your success in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
