Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments aimed at understanding clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and goals, which will guide individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement tailored treatment strategies that incorporate evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore and navigate their emotions and experiences.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document client progress throughout the therapeutic process, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers to ensure holistic care and support for clients.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and guide them in accessing mental health services and community resources tailored to their unique situations.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards as designated by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing relationship challenges, family dynamics, and mood disorders. Our clients include adolescents, adults, and families seeking personalized therapy services to address their unique mental health needs. You will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic support and skill-building for those struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is required.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals during the treatment process.

• A proven history of achieving positive client outcomes in the therapeutic treatment of mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities beyond CBT and DBT, such as solution-focused therapy or trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and techniques to enhance client engagement and access to services.
\n
• Advanced skills in crisis intervention and managing high-risk cases effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
