Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, determining their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their support systems about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress throughout therapy, making adaptive changes to treatment plans in response to their evolving needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to inform and enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and team training sessions to further develop clinical capacities and share insights from personal experiences.

• Advocate for clients by promoting a better understanding of mood disorders and supporting their mental health needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your role is vital in addressing specific patient needs, employing treatment strategies informed by the latest research and best practices to support their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
\n
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focused on treating mood disorders, with an emphasis on building therapeutic relationships and achieving patient outcomes.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong foundation in understanding psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of specialized experience with mood disorders, guiding clients through their recovery and evaluating treatment effectiveness.

• Experience in developing group therapy programs or workshops focused on mood disorder management.
\n
• Advanced training or certification in additional therapeutic modalities relevant to mood disorder treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a sign-on bonus as part of your compensation package.
