Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide crisis intervention to individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges, tailoring interventions according to each patient’s unique situation.

• Communicate regularly with physicians and other healthcare professionals to report on patient progress, address concerns, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records and progress notes in adherence to department policies and relevant regulations, ensuring continuity of care.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the formulation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and evaluation of program effectiveness.

• Establish and nurture relationships with local community resource leaders, representing Inner Peace Counseling Center at meetings and on committees aimed at addressing social determinants impacting our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. The licensed counselor will work closely with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life adjustments. The supportive and understanding nature of our practice allows clients to feel safe while exploring their challenges and empowers them to work actively towards their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
\n
• Current active licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of California.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in mental health settings, providing direct counseling and therapeutic services.
\n
• Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written, which facilitate effective interactions with clients, team members, and external partners.

• Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic frameworks and approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
