Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Wellspring Shift Wellness, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals, couples, and families to develop effective treatment plans.

• Providing therapeutic services to couples in joint sessions as well as individual sessions to address a variety of complex family dynamics.

• Leading therapy sessions that specialize in issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, blended families, and communication difficulties.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure quality therapy delivery and optimum patient outcomes.
\n
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment methods accordingly to ensure effective therapy.
\n
• Engaging in continuing education and professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in family therapy.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and share insights for effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Documenting sessions and maintaining electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working closely with diverse populations, including adults, children, adolescents, and families facing various psychological and relational challenges. Your expertise will help guide families through situations such as separation, divorce, job stress, and communication issues, ultimately contributing to healthier family relationships and improved individual well-being.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, psychology, or a related field.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for fostering mental health and family dynamics.

\n
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome both newly licensed and experienced therapists who are looking to further their careers in a supportive environment. Experience with teletherapy methods, as well as familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques, will be advantageous. Flexible availability, ideally accommodating at least 30 hours per week, is also desirable.
