Essential Responsibilities

1. Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients. 2. Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date medical records. Communicate abnormal findings to physicians and document thoroughly. 3. Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management. Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications. Assist with patient education and ensure understanding of treatment plans and medication use. 4. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment. 5. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinical team.

Education and Experience Required

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required. This position offers a day shift schedule with 40 hours per week in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
