Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health and substance use concerns, identifying any co-occurring disorders for a tailored treatment approach.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapies addressing both mental health and substance use needs, focused on fostering sustainable recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques aimed at enhancing coping mechanisms, relapse prevention skills, and emotional regulation.

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nursing staff, and addiction specialists—to deliver comprehensive, integrated treatment plans.

• Regularly monitor clients' substance use progress and leverage motivational interviewing techniques to enhance their engagement in treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to the treatment plans.

• Maintain precise documentation of treatment interventions and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to continually improve skills and knowledge in treating co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies, notably Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
