Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Digital Patrol Reporting in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare-related environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver attentive customer service. DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for individuals entering and leaving a medical examiner facility in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
