Our practice operates within a Detox Center, which focuses on providing essential mental health services for individuals grappling with substance use and related challenges.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments that capture the unique experiences of our patients, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing individual patient needs, while being mindful of their cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that nurture mental health awareness and promote overall well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in documentation as per legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance collaboration and service quality.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, obtained from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage challenging situations with composure.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in various computer applications.

• Dedication to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Capability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within community mental health settings or detox facilities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
