Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific recovery needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and stretching techniques to alleviate pain and enhance the functional mobility of patients.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, responding to their needs by adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Keep abreast of advancements in physical therapy by attending educational workshops and participating in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on diverse patient populations recovering from physical ailments caused by injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will work closely with children and adults, adapting your approach to ensure mindful and effective communication that fosters trust and cooperation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid and current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate patient interactions and document progress.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills necessary for documentation and communication.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills, especially in a home care setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical or home care setting, with proven competencies in patient evaluation and treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
