Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting this information meticulously from initial consultations through the treatment process.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that the strategies align with the clients’ unique needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic models that promote healing and growth.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment journeys, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize effectiveness and support.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated intervention plans that enhance client outcomes.

• Provide supportive follow-up care for clients recently admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care and ongoing assessment of their mental health post-discharge.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, proactively implementing preventive measures to address emotional and behavioral challenges that may hinder progress.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing them with strategies and resources to manage their loved one's mental health concerns effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction challenges. Your role will involve fostering a safe and open environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A passing score on the National Counseling Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience working as a mental health counselor in varied settings.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate client records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Experience managing clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as expertise in substance use disorders.

• In-depth understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications and collaboration with medical specialists for integrated care.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, showcasing the ability to convey complex information with clarity.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience, with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
