Overview Registered Nurse (PACU) – Lodi, CA. Travel assignment starting August 17, 2026 for 8 weeks in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay range $1,997–$2,092 per week with guaranteed 40 hours. Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), three days per week. This PACU role focuses on delivering coordinated perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity post-anesthesia environment. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for post-anesthesia patients in the PACU according to established standards and the nursing process
• Monitor recovery status, vital signs, airway patency, and pain control; respond to deviations from expected recovery trajectories
• Assess data, formulate a plan, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward outcomes
• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other disciplines to ensure safe, continuous care and timely transfers
• Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families related to post-anesthesia recovery and care at home or the next care setting
• Document care and communications accurately in the electronic health record; supervise and direct staff as assigned

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in the state of practice (California)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PACU or acute care nursing
• Education: BSN preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced PACU environment and in a hospital setting
