Security Officer Patrol Badge Verification

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour Job Schedule: Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel, verify authorized access as directed by location procedures, and report discrepancies or suspicious activity. Support order and traffic flow at gates, docks, and/or designated access points by following post instructions, communicating clearly with site personnel, and completing required logs and reports. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
