The work setting at West Valley Psychotherapy Center is entirely remote, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while delivering high-quality therapy from the comfort of your own space. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists, utilizing telehealth technology to reach patients effectively. Our accommodating work schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for flexible hours to meet patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies to identify patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other relevant approaches tailored to individual client objectives.

• Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster community and provide educational resources on mental health issues.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in regular team consultations, case reviews, and professional development workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

• Advocate for patient needs and connect them with community resources to enhance their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing effective, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, enabling productive relationships with clients and team members.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable using technology to facilitate patient care.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
