Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical lab tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, following established protocols.
• Verify results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, contribute to training new staff or students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a tidy and secure work environment while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of your hiring.
• Continuous maintenance of certification during employment.
