Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have a multitude of responsibilities that directly contribute to the well-being of our clients:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental challenges that clients face, ensuring a clear understanding of their unique situations.

• Develop and implement personalized service plans that set forth clear goals, interventions, and methods for progress monitoring, aligning with the specific needs of each individual or family.

• Provide counseling services to children and families dealing with various complexities, such as behavioral issues, emotional distress, or family dynamics, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized service plans and effectively connect them to vital community resources, ensuring they receive the support they need.

• Offer critical crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning, particularly in high-stress situations demanding immediate care.

• Engage in proactive outreach initiatives, linking clients to relevant community services and resources outside of our agency.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to collaborative discussions about client care and resource allocation.

• Facilitate training sessions and workshops both for your professional development and to enhance the quality of services offered by our agency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client population for this role primarily consists of children and families from diverse backgrounds facing challenges that may impact their mental health and academic performance. You will address various issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and crisis situations, all through a trauma-informed lens that respects and values the lived experiences of clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• Awareness of community resources for mental health, social services, and legal support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
