Work Environment\n

This is primarily a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements while providing vital outpatient mental health services. Our innovative practice utilizes telehealth technology to reach patients from the comfort of their homes. However, our outpatient office in Spokane will also host occasional on-site meetings and team gatherings, ensuring that our therapists can collaborate and share insights effectively. We work a standard schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations, examining patients' histories, behaviors, and emotional states.

• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans based on assessed needs, including specific goals and therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities to provide effective treatment.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing issues ranging from emotional distress to interpersonal relationship challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans that consider all aspects of a patient's health.

• Support patients in crisis situations by deploying immediate intervention strategies and providing reassurance during challenging episodes.

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment processes, and community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic documentation complying with legal and ethical standards to aid in continuity of care.

• Engage in regular case conferences and professional development activities, contributing to team knowledge and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Washington.

• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, combined with a trauma-informed care approach.

• Excellent diagnostic skills, with the ability to create detailed assessments and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is essential for efficient patient data management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
