Position Overview

Spindletop Physical Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our onsite rehabilitation team in Leesburg, Virginia. Work Environment

The rehabilitation center in Leesburg, Virginia, offers a welcoming and collaborative environment. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technologies, allowing therapists to customize treatment plans for diverse patient needs. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, encompassing a 40-hour shift, allowing for consistent patient engagement and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, contributing to a positive atmosphere that encourages patient motivation and participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in patients' homes when necessary, adhering to physician-approved plans of care to achieve optimal function and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on treatment processes and at-home exercises to foster independence and confidence in managing their health.
• Achieve minimum utilization targets and contribute to clinic business objectives through effective patient management and follow-up.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals recovering from surgery, traumatic injuries, and those managing chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of cases, enhancing your expertise across multiple specialties while building rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy for Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in computer skills and word processing to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• A passion for patient care, demonstrated through the ability to forge strong therapeutic relationships and exceed functional rehabilitation goals.
• Desire to positively impact individuals' lives and strengthen community ties.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, especially in one or more of the specialties we serve.
• Exposure to evidence-based treatment methodologies and success in patient outcome management.
