Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing clinical judgement and evidence-based assessment tools to gather history and perform assessments.
• Communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively develop comprehensive treatment plans with patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in goal setting.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, adapting methods to align with patient progress and evolving healthcare standards.
• Maintain close communication with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing and promptly documenting any changes in patient conditions that necessitate adjustments in care plans or referrals.
• Execute effective discharge planning, ensuring that patients have a solid support system in place for ongoing recovery and follow-up care.
• Accurately document patient interactions and treatment activities to provide a clear record of care, including entrance evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Manage your schedule efficiently, meeting productivity benchmarks and contributing to team efforts in clinical marketing initiatives.
• Engage in continuing education to stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Exemplify customer service excellence and promote accessibility to care through flexibility in scheduling and responsiveness to patient needs.
• Contribute to departmental goals and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinics serve a diverse patient population, ranging from athletic individuals recovering from injuries to elderly patients dealing with chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice physical therapy as required by Virginia law.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
