Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Better Everyday Clinic, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, reviewing their medical history and current symptoms through consultations.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote functional independence and recovery.
• Educate patients on the proper use of therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance rehabilitation efforts.
• Utilize various modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and advanced equipment, to stimulate healing and alleviate pain.
• Support patients in mastering the use of assistive devices, ensuring their safe and effective utilization.
• Keep meticulous patient records to monitor goals and document progress, facilitating open communication with other healthcare providers.
• Provide valuable advice to patients and their families regarding in-home treatments and exercises, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current and active state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
