Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027. You’ll work Monday through Friday, from 7:15am to 3:15pm, providing instruction and support to a caseload of 13 pre-K students. As a valued team member, you’ll collaborate with other educators and specialists, delivering individualized education plans in a nurturing, inclusive setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials, aligned with pre-K requirements
• Experience with pre-K populations and mild to moderate disabilities
• Fingerprint clearance for working in pre-K classrooms (required)
• Familiarity with implementing IEPs and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction for pre-K students with special needs
• Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster holistic development
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Maintain accurate student records and progress data
• Provide a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
