Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction through detailed analysis and develop personalized treatment plans for each patient.
• Guide patients in understanding and performing therapeutic exercises accurately to maximize their recovery.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, including massage and manual therapy, to facilitate healing and improve mobility.
• Assist patients in the safe use of rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
• Maintain meticulous patient records to track progress against established therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families on effective in-home treatment options and exercises to encourage independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include children and adults experiencing a wide range of conditions, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management and sports injuries. Your role will require adapting treatment approaches to meet the specific needs of patients across various demographics, ensuring personalized care that fosters positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a clinical setting, which will allow you to contribute immediately to our team dynamics and patient care strategies. Experience in rehabilitative therapies with a focus on evidence-based practice will be considered an asset.
