Step into Strength Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our supportive team in Keyport, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and identify any adverse symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction, craft personalized treatment plans that aim for optimal function and recovery.
• Instruct patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand the proper methods for maximum benefit and safety.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities to provide massage or stimulation that promotes healing.
• Assist patients with mobility-enhancing equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers, and educate them on how to use these tools effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, documenting progress toward recovery goals and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and guide patients and their families on effective in-home treatment strategies and exercises to continue progress outside the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and reporting.
• Strong adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatric patients.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
