Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ emotional, behavioral, and social needs using evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored care plans that address the unique challenges faced by each student.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic methodologies to effectively manage various issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services to students in immediate need, ensuring safety and stability.
\n
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Educate families and caregivers on available resources and strategies to support their children’s mental health.
\n
• Remain current with new methodologies in mental health care to continually enhance service delivery and foster positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on students aged 5-18 within the school environment, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including behavioral issues, learning difficulties, emotional disturbances, and family-related crises. By providing tailored support, you will help promote academic success and emotional resilience among students, while also engaging with families to ensure a holistic approach to mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
\n
• Strong understanding of clinical assessment and care plan development.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth services is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or educational setting, with focus on youth mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
