The Emotional Intelligence Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team as an Outpatient Social Worker. This role will primarily focus on providing vital support to individuals facing a variety of challenges, including neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health issues, and parental substance abuse. In this position, you will assess client needs both over the phone and in person, offer crisis intervention, and make appropriate referrals to external agencies to ensure holistic support for our clients.

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while providing essential support to clients through our hospice facility. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients, documenting relevant case information, and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Providing empathetic support during crises, including emotional stability and reassurance for clients in distress.
\n
• Facilitating client engagement in meaningful activities, which may include coordinating with community resources for workshops or support groups.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of all client interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with agency policies and legal requirements.

• Making appropriate referrals to external organizations, services, or specialists that can offer further assistance for client needs.

• Participating actively in team meetings, trainings, and supervision processes, contributing insights from client interactions that may influence agency practices.

• Monitoring for signs of child abuse or other forms of client distress and taking swift action in accordance with established protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing crises related to child welfare, mental health challenges, and domestic violence. Our clients may require immediate crisis intervention as well as long-term therapeutic support, and your role will be pivotal in connecting them to the resources and care they need. Familiarization with trauma-informed care practices will be essential to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required, coupled with a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation.

• Demonstrated experience working with populations affected by neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, and other profound social issues.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and understand client concerns without interruption.

• Proficiency in using technology, including familiarity with software for record-keeping and client management.

• Knowledge and application of crisis intervention methodologies and trauma-informed care practices.

• A current, valid driver’s license to facilitate in-person client visits when necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct experience in a clinical or counseling setting, particularly with outpatient services.

• Experience in hospice care or end-of-life care settings is highly advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case conferences.
