Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Northern Health System Counseling, your core responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with clients who experience symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders through telehealth appointments and community outreach.

• Creating and implementing integrated care plans that ensure continuity of care and link clients to necessary services.
\n
• Conducting brief, developmentally appropriate screenings and determining the need for more comprehensive assessments as indicated.

• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to clients’ specific needs.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during urgent situations as necessary.
\n
• Working collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals and improve overall service delivery.

• Ensuring clients are monitored through all stages of treatment, from admission to discharge, while maintaining thorough documentation.

• Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills, performance, and treatment outcomes for clients.

The population served by Northern Health System Counseling includes children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker position will meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (a Master's Degree is preferred).

• A current LCSW license issued by the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a social work setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
