Make a difference for young learners as a Bilingual Early Childhood Special Education professional in a vibrant, supportive environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on-site across multiple schools in the Thornton and Broomfield areas, serving children and families as part of a collaborative Child Find Evaluation Team. Your expertise with early childhood special education—combined with bilingual skills—will help guide vital evaluations and support services across the district.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Early Childhood SPED endorsement
• Fluency in English and at least one other language
• Experience in special education, with a focus on preschool or early childhood settings
• Ability to conduct comprehensive bilingual assessments and evaluations
• Strong communication, organization, and cultural competency skills

In this role, you will:

• Conduct bilingual Child Find evaluations at designated elementary schools and district-wide locations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify and address developmental needs
• Serve families and children, ages birth to five, supporting their access to necessary educational services
• Provide clear, compassionate, and detailed evaluation reports and help inform placement or intervention decisions
• Maintain flexible scheduling to meet program and family needs across at least two school sites
• Meet all district onboarding requirements, including timely return of required contractor paperwork
