As a remote position, this role affords flexibility while maintaining structure. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations to establish each client's baseline and necessary care protocols.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring continuous evaluation and adjustment as necessary.

• Provide therapeutic support through individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including medical staff, case managers, and local community organizations to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation as per California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance and safeguard client confidentiality.
\n
• Engage in optional team meetings and peer consultations to share insights and best practices with colleagues.
\n
• Stay current with licensure requirements and engage in continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting clients on their recovery journey from detox to stabilization. You’ll address various intersecting issues, including trauma, family dynamics, and social inequities, that influence their mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California is mandatory.

• A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) program.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care, systems theory, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Effective interpersonal and strong documentation skills that contribute to positive therapeutic relationships and accurate record-keeping.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems or eagerness to learn is preferred.

• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within a clinical team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience with mental health or substance use populations is highly desirable.

• Clinical experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment facility is strongly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
