Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to create individualized treatment plans that encapsulate their unique psychological, emotional, and social circumstances.

• Providing therapy and crisis intervention by engaging clients in evidence-based counseling strategies tailored to meet their needs and challenges.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes that adhere to our organizational policies and best practices.

• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to discuss patient progress, share insights, and modify treatment plans accordingly.

• Facilitating effective discharge planning by ensuring clients have access to the necessary resources and support systems in the community.

• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to share valuable insights on client treatment and contribute to a unified approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and more. Your role as an LPC is pivotal in assisting these clients on their journey toward recovery, providing not only therapeutic interventions but also advocacy, support, and guidance throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in providing mental health services.

• Strong independent working abilities and self-motivation, with excellent organizational skills.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology, including knowledge of MS Office and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional years of experience in clinical settings, particularly in community health or outpatient facilities, are encouraged to apply.
