Our remote work setting is designed to encourage flexibility while maintaining high-quality patient care. Our Detox Center serves individuals in need of immediate mental health support, and our multidisciplinary approach includes collaboration with reentry social workers, correctional facilities, and various healthcare programs. This position requires adept administrative skills, alongside clinical expertise, as you will engage in case management, documentation, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Coordinate with reentry social workers to facilitate comprehensive discharge planning services, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
\n
• Complete and submit necessary statistical reports to maintain accurate records of patient care and organizational efficacy.
\n
• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to secure access to treatment and appropriate housing for patients, navigating complex bureaucratic processes.
\n
• Develop and lead therapeutic group sessions on mental health observation units and other specified units, employing evidence-based practices to promote group cohesion and individual healing.
\n
• Maintain precise and timely documentation for all clinical interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.
\n
• Engage in clinical supervision at least once a week with a Clinical Supervisor, fostering professional growth and skill enhancement.
\n
• Participate in mental health and medical rounds to stay informed about patient status and multidisciplinary collaboration.
\n
• Contribute to case conferences and treatment planning discussions regarding patients needing or receiving mental health treatment.
\n
• Conduct psychometric assessments and psychological testing as required, applying clinical insights to improve patient outcomes.
\n
• Carry out mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and provide follow-up care to ensure continuity of services for our patients.

• Assess and coordinate the mental health care disposition of patients to ensure that individuals receive appropriate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on children and teenagers, addressing various issues that may impact their mental health, including trauma, behavioral challenges, and emotional distress. You will be required to employ age-appropriate interventions and utilize trauma-informed care principles to effectively engage with young patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist in the state of California. Independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• Strong clinical skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n
