Our therapists work during standard business hours, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while fully serving your clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments for clients presenting mood disorders, including evaluating the severity, frequency, and history of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their goals, preferences, and unique life circumstances.

• Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide essential education and resources to clients and families regarding mood disorder management, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Maintain close monitoring of clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and their evolving needs.

• Engage in teamwork with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive well-rounded and integrated care.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health research and methodologies to continuously enhance your clinical practice.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously to comply with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of information.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster professional growth and stay updated on best practices in treating mood disorders.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and the destigmatization of mood disorders both within the community and with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your compassionate approach and clinical skills will be critical in guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys, helping them cope with their challenges, and achieving improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and an ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists to create comprehensive treatment strategies.

• A successful history of achieving positive therapeutic outcomes with clients facing mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with individuals from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
