Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to identify mental or emotional disorders, ensuring a clear understanding of their unique needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and addressing individual patient goals and challenges.

• Provide ongoing counseling sessions, actively listening to patients and helping them navigate their emotional struggles while promoting effective coping mechanisms.

• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes and facilitate healing.

• Educate patients and clinic staff on trauma-informed care practices and effective coping strategies for stress management.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community outreach programs to connect patients with additional resources and support services.

• Engage in continuing education to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on patients with trauma-related injuries who require comprehensive mental health support. You will be guiding individuals through their recovery journeys by offering empathetic care and evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs, promoting resilience and healing while addressing complex emotional challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.

• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience working with trauma patients in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
