This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring occasional face-to-face interactions in our Guilderland Center, New York outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with our team, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify appropriate treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge that supports healing.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and share insights with colleagues.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve the quality of care delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working closely with individuals experiencing varying degrees of trauma-related disorders, anxiety, and stress. Our patient population includes adults, adolescents, and families grappling with complex emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering evidence-based trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and skill set. In addition to a guarantee of pay with annual increases, we provide generous benefits including:
