Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Northern Valley Community Health Care, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions, leading to actionable treatment plans.

• Developing and implementing tailored therapeutic strategies for diverse client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Providing therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, to address a range of mental health issues.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care and effective treatment approaches, significantly impacting client outcomes.

• Staying current on developments in mental health research and practices by participating in ongoing training sessions, workshops, and peer consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults who face various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, with a preference for a clinical background.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, giving you the ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have additional training or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance abuse counseling. Compensation and Benefits\n
