Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized tests across various domains-chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Interpret and analyze results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Document all laboratory procedures thoroughly, assist in the training of new employees or students, and ensure adherence to laboratory quality control standards.
• Promote a clean, safe, productive work atmosphere while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree and preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment duration.
