Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Remote Opportunity

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote working environment, allowing you to conduct sessions via telemedicine or in-person consultations as necessary. Our community health clinic provides a collaborative virtual space where interdisciplinary team members convene to discuss strategies, share insights, and ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health, creating tailored therapeutic plans that address their unique needs.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples and families, employing evidence-based practices to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships.
• Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions, ensuring that the treatment aligns with developmental stages.
• Lead and facilitate parent support groups, offering a nurturing environment while focusing on sensitive topics such as placement and adoption, particularly for families with prenatally substance-exposed children.
• Conduct developmental evaluations of children to identify challenges and coordinate proper therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for various stakeholders, including social workers, attorneys, educators, and mental health professionals, enhancing their understanding of marriage and family therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and contributing to comprehensive care plans for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with diverse populations that include couples, children, adolescents, and families facing various challenges such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your compassionate approach will empower clients to engage in their mental health journey actively.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant therapeutic environment is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with families involved in legal issues, particularly concerning adoption or foster care.
• A background in conducting developmental assessments for children.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology.
• Experience leading support groups and training sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 105,000 annually. In addition to a generous salary, we provide:
