Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as an LCSW will include the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Ensure accurate documentation of client progress through our electronic health records (EHR) system, adhering to confidentiality and compliance protocols.

• Engage in regular supervision and consultation with fellow team members to enhance clinical skills and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

• Participate in community outreach efforts to promote available mental health services and engage prospective clients.

• Collaborate with support staff to handle administrative tasks, including billing inquiries and insurance verifications, enabling you to concentrate on client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with adults seeking assistance with a variety of mental health challenges. Understanding and sensitivity towards the needs of diverse populations will be vital, as many clients may come from varied backgrounds, including minority and marginalized communities. You may also encounter clients looking for guidance in specific areas, such as men’s mental health and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license to practice in the state of New York.
\n
• At least three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience.
\n
• Professional malpractice insurance coverage.

• Evidence of successful therapeutic outcomes in previous roles.

Preferred Experience\n
