Estate and Trust Paralegal

LHH is seeking an experienced Estates and Trusts Paralegal for our valued law firm client. Organization and attention to detail are extremely important in this fast-paced office. The position is a direct hire opportunity.

Job Requirements

• Experience working in fast-paced office environment; law office experience preferred
  
• 3+ years solid estate & trust Paralegal experience
  
• Experience with estate documents and tax returns preferred
  
• Ability to quickly learn and use varying software programs
  
• Preparing deeds; asset spreadsheets and probate pleadings
  
• ??Preparing federal estate tax returns and gift returns
  
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  
• Highly detailed, organized
  
• Assisting on preparing federal estate tax returns and gift returns
  
• Organizing and maintaining client files
  
• Highly proactive with attention to detail, dependable, and extremely organized
  
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  
• Excellent proofreading skills and clear and concise communication skills
  
• Positive and professional demeanor
  

Qualifications:

• Paralegal certificate is preferred or prior experience in Estates and Trusts within a law firm
  
• Lackner 6-in-1 software experience
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• High attention to detail
  
• Trustworthy and ethical
  
• Client service oriented
  

Salary: $60,000 - $72,000

Benefits:
Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance .
