Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Pittsburgh based law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation experience and will provide high-level support to attorneys handling litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case initiation, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities
• Manage document collection, review, organization, and production (including e-discovery platforms)
• Draft, edit, and finalize pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines; track statutes of limitations and court-imposed deadlines
• Conduct legal research and gather factual information to support case strategy
• Coordinate and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials (including exhibit binders, witness materials, and trial notebooks)
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors as directed by attorneys
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the litigation team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience (civil litigation preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania state court and federal court rules and procedures
• Proficiency with e-discovery platforms, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
