Real Estate Paralegal
Proxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a national law firm to find an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support its real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate settlement services, including title work, escrow management, and real estate document preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and settlements
- Conduct and assist with land title-related work
- Prepare, review, and organize real estate documents
- Manage escrow-related documentation and processes
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, title companies, lenders, and other parties as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized transaction files
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Follow established procedures and instructions while meeting deadlines
- Troubleshoot issues and assist with resolving transaction-related problems
- Perform other duties supporting the firm's real estate practice
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a real estate paralegal, real estate processor, title professional, or in a related role
- Experience with real estate settlements, title work, escrow, and document preparation
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and utilize industry-specific software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
