The Getting Better Counselling Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Remote School-Based Mental Health Specialist. Work Environment\n

This role is 100% remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while connecting with students and educators in the school system. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand the mental health needs, strengths, and resources of students.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that set specific goals and measurable interventions for students.

• Collaborate effectively with educators, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary, addressing acute needs in a timely manner.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops to enhance students’ coping skills and resilience.

• Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation of all client interactions, in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations to ensure high-quality client care and professional development.

Your primary focus will be on students of various ages, from elementary to high school, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. You will support a diverse population, many of whom may be experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or behavioral issues. By providing targeted interventions, you will help enhance their academic performance and social functioning, contributing positively to their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
