Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with adolescents in one-on-one therapeutic sessions that are solution-focused and tailored to their unique situations.

• Facilitate skills development by assisting clients in identifying challenges and solutions, empowering them to overcome both current and future obstacles.

• Coordinate treatment planning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team while providing crisis evaluations to ensure timely interventions.

• Conduct crisis intervention assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on client needs.

• Provide specialized care to adolescents who may be seriously mentally ill, cognitively impaired, or developmentally disabled, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based and appropriate.

• Lead group counseling sessions focused on key mental health themes, fostering peer support and community engagement among clients.

• Maintain accurate and informative records, including detailed notes on intake assessments, treatment progress, and individual care plans.

• Offer training and support for probation and detention staff to equip them with effective strategies for engaging and supporting adolescents in their care.

• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care post-detainment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
