Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the counseling needs of clients, focusing on mental health and substance abuse concerns.
\n
• Utilizing the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria for substance use diagnosis to identify the appropriate level of care according to ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) standards.

• Developing individualized treatment plans for clients that specifically incorporate substance abuse counseling components.
\n
• Creating discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate clients' transitions to appropriate levels of care post-treatment.
\n
• Maintaining thorough documentation of all counseling interactions, assessments, referrals, and follow-ups in each client’s clinical record.
\n
• Managing a caseload that includes treatment planning, clinical charting, case management, and utilization review updates, ensuring consistent tracking of progress.
\n
• Coordinating support services for clients and their families while documenting these services in clinical records.
\n
• Establishing and maintaining contact with referral sources such as schools, employers, and legal entities to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Facilitating crisis intervention strategies using a multidisciplinary team approach to ensure the best outcomes for clients facing immediate challenges.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits\n

Great Valley Psychotherapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits include:
