Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive clinical evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans that address the needs of clients.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to foster client progress.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams—comprising other counselors, psychiatrists, and social workers—to provide clients with a comprehensive support network.

• Document clinical encounters thoroughly using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele comprises individuals from various backgrounds, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. The counselor will work closely with clients both individually and in group settings, applying targeted interventions to help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to clinical practice.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills conducive to establishing rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
